Midwinter Mundane Magic Summit
Jan 25-28th
I finally found a “conference” that I wouldn’t hate going to! It’s gonna be real, fun, informative, and weird. I’m doing my thing at 10amPST Sunday Jan 28th, where I will be revealing details from my personal practice that I use to relieve chronic pain, and find the inherent joy in being alive again. Here’s the blurb for my session:
No Escape, Isn’t It Great
Embodied dreaming as the inescapable gift
Join Larissa for an exploration into their personal practice of “Embodied Dreaming”, AKA Feral Somatic Theater, where the web of continuity between the subtle and material, the holy and profane, the polite and the tabooboo, the simple and the ecstatic, is found through infinite entry points of our embodied experience and perception. Embodied Dreaming is defined by its vast freedom; it has no set structure, but dozens of micro-skills that allow the dreamer to collaborate with the fields of freedom with deep integrity and best outcome. Larissa will share some background about how this practice developed in their life, and what implications it has for the human species. They will then offer a demonstration and follow-along experience for participants.

And here is more about the event itself:
“Everyone wants to do ayahuasca but no one wants to do the dishes.” - Unknown
You know that feeling when you just accidentally transmuted your great-great-grandmother’s sexual trauma through spontaneous tantric ritual, but then you have to go to your Homeowner’s Association Meeting?
Have you ever had a peak spiritual experience and believed yourself to be invincible, but then pulled a curtain rod down on your face when you tried to shut the blinds?
Have you ever had a moment of groundbreaking insight that you were certain would make 50 self-created problems go away, but then…you just kinda forgot?
Yeah. Us too.
While the landscape of personal growth, culture weirding, and spirituality is booming with opportunities for altered states, peak experiences, and epic journeys, there isn’t much available to us for integrating these moments back into everyday life and everyday relationships.
What if you’ve got a pocket full of magic beans, but don’t know how to tend the soil?
What if spirituality isn’t something that happens in a space set apart from everyday life, but is wholly dependent on everyday life?
In this weekend-long online event, we hope to explore some of these questions, play together, pray together, break bread together–and practice making everything sacred and nothing sacred at the same time.

I read the bit about no full recordings only. I’m interested in attending but I work on Sundays. Are partial recordings available?
